Individual visits

Our audio guide is available free of charge through your smartphone. You can use it to listen to or read more than 300 descriptions of the works on display. And it’s available in ten languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. We can even lend you a smartphone for your visit.
The reception desk also provides tablets on which you can explore 15 works from the permanent exhibition in augmented reality.
You don’t need the audio guide to fully enjoy the exhibitions, as you’ll see explanatory texts in three languages (French, German and English) posted along the way.

Family visits

Young and old alike really enjoy the augmented reality aspect of the “A History of the Reformation” exhibition. It’s an entertaining way to learn all about 15 major pieces. You just need to borrow a tablet, free of charge, at the reception desk.

Group visits and guided tours

A discounted admission fee applies for groups of 15 or more. The fee is CHF 8 per person rather than CHF 13.

Guides: CHF 150 per visit, either for the permanent collection or for the temporary exhibition.
Duration about 60 minutes, one guide for 20 people maximum.

Group reservations should be made at least five business days before the date of your visit.
Group tickets can be purchased in advance or on site at the time of your visit. They are refundable if you cancel your visit at least 72 hours ahead of time.

Access for people with reduced mobility

Admission is free for the person who accompanies a visitor with a disability. A mechanical ramp is available for those in a wheelchair; please contact our reception desk to have it put in place: +41 22 310 24 31.

Payment methods

The Museum accepts payments in Swiss francs and euros (although change can only be given in Swiss francs). TWINT and major Swiss bank cards (Maestro, Visa, MasterCard and Postcard) are also accepted.
