Terms of Sales

Article 1 – Scope

The general conditions of sale apply to all orders for entry tickets, requests for services and store items posted online on the website of the Musée international de la Réforme.
By checking the box “I have read and accept the general conditions of sale”, the buyer declares to accept these conditions without reservation. The data recorded by the ticket office is authentic and constitutes proof of all transactions carried out.

Article 2 – Prices

Prices are in Swiss francs, all taxes included.

Entrance tickets, requests for services and purchases from the online store must be paid for when ordering by credit card exclusively (Visa, Mastercard, Postcard and TWINT) on the secure payment site of the International Museum of the Reformation.

Payment in cash (Swiss Francs and Euros tickets only and reimbursement in Swiss Francs) is possible only at the reception of the International Museum of the Reformation.

Article 3 – Entrance ticket/E-ticket

Good printing quality of the “print@home” ticket is essential. Tickets in PDF format must be printed on white A4 paper, blank on both sides. The buyer is responsible for the readability of the information, the conservation of the ticket and bears the risks linked to its deterioration or loss.

The mobile ticket can be presented on a mobile phone.

Recipients of a reduced rate or subscribers must be able to present proof at access control. Presentation of invalid proof will result in refusal of access. OR the buyer must pay the difference between the reduced price and the full price.

The International Museum of the Reformation is not obliged to verify the identity of the person presenting the “print@home” ticket by ensuring that they are the purchaser of the ticket. The person presenting the ticket first is presumed to be the legitimate holder of the ticket.

Ticket buyers acknowledge, without restriction or reservations, the rules of the museum regarding security, access, age, as well as all other modalities of execution and take note of the fact that in the event of non-compliance with said rules, they may be excluded without possibility of compensation.

In the event of fraud by the buyer, the Musée international de la Réforme reserves all rights of legal action.

Article 4 – Reservation of group services

The reservation for a guided tour service is only valid for the date and time indicated on the reservation confirmation.

Reservation for group visits (1 to 25 people maximum) with guide is mandatory and must be made at least 14 working days before the date of the visit.

Payment is made at the time of booking. If on the day of said visit the number of people present was less than the number of tickets purchased, the entries concerned may be refunded to the credit card with which the online purchase was made.

Recipients of a reduced rate or free admission also reserve their tickets online and must be able to present proof at access control.

Reservations are processed within the limits of availability indicated on the site.

Group reservations made online are only for the times and days indicated. All requests outside this time must be made by telephone at +41 22 310 24 31 or by email at

Article 5 – DIP class reservation

Visits to the DIP are only made on the dedicated platform.

Article 6 – Reservations for events (conferences / concerts / shows / workshops)

Reservations for a conference or other event are only valid for the date and time indicated on the reservation confirmation.

Payment is made at the time of booking.

Recipients of a reduced rate also reserve their tickets online and must be able to present proof at access control.

Discounts on ticket purchases are suspended for events.

Reservations are processed within the limits of availability indicated on the site.

Access to conferences is available no later than 15 minutes before the start of the conference.

Article 7 – Cancellation of individual or group visits

The price of an individual visit can be refunded to the credit card with which the purchase was made by going on site to the MIR reception or as a credit balance in your customer account.< /p>

Cancellation or postponement of a guided tour must be made by email (info@mir.ch) or telephone (+41 22 310 24 31) no later than 7 working days before the date of the service. In the event of non-compliance with this deadline, the service will not be reimbursed.

Article 8 – Data protection and confidentiality policy

The International Museum of the Reformation undertakes to treat the data confidentially. These can nevertheless be used anonymously for statistical analysis purposes.

Article 9 – Applicable law and legal forum

Swiss law applies and the legal forum is located in Geneva.
