Guided tour request

Reservations should preferably be made at least five working days before the planned date. Guided tours last one hour and are limited to 20 people. For larger groups, several successive tours can be organized. Please indicate your specific requirements in the «Comments» box at the bottom of the form. You will receive a reply or confirmation as soon as possible.

If at all possible, we would be grateful if you could arrive at the MIR ten to fifteen minutes before your visit, so that it can start at the appointed time after you have passed through the changing rooms, toilets, etc.

Visit aids: The exhibitions are understandable thanks to room texts printed in three languages (French, German, English) throughout the tour.

If you would like more information on the history of the Reformation, free tour assistance can be activated on a smartphone. It allows you to listen or read more than 300 explanations relating to the works on display, in 10 different languages: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Smartphones can be loaned for the visit.

15 works from the permanent exhibition are animated in augmented reality via tablets that can also be borrowed free of charge at reception.
